Alaina Hess- Preschool Supervisor, Morning School
Alaina Hess graduated in 2020 from San Francisco State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology. Since becoming a Preschool Teacher she has decided to pursue her Masters in Early Childhood Education at her alma mater. Alaina has over 8 years of experience working with kids in a home and daycare setting. This will be her fifth year as a Preschool Teacher at Marinwood and third as Supervisor.

I believe that preschool is very important year for their growth and help form key building blocks for their future emotional and social development. I am committed to providing a safe and caring environment while preparing students to be successful in Kindergarten.”
Francesca Guillen - Morning School
Francesca has worked with children of all ages in a variety of settings. From a community center, tutoring elementary students, to supporting youth in mental health, Francesca acknowledges the importance of helping each child individually to help them succeed.

Annette Raisedana - Threes Together
Annette Raisedana studied speech pathology and audiology, receiving her degree from Purdue University in Indiana. Annette has been with our teaching staff since 2002 working in both the three and four year old programs.
“As a preschool teacher at Marinwood, I work to encourage co-operation, creative thinking and socialization in a loving, safe, and supportive environment. This experience will help children transition more smoothly into the elementary school experience.”
Amie Buecker- Threes Together
Amie earned her degree in Clinical Psychology from San Francisco State University. After working for many years in both the film and music industries, she realized her true calling was in the classroom. She has experience working as a teacher’s aide for the transitional Kindergarten program here in Lucas Valley. She recognizes the importance of nurturing the whole child through guided art projects, movement and song. She also has experience with neurodiverse children and appreciates and understands the varied learning styles and social/ emotional needs of young children. She’s very excited to bring her skills to Marinwood’s preschool program!
